Good Fiction Novels Speak for Themselves

A writer somewhere in the past once said, “The best fiction is that which is closest to the truth.” There is validity to that statement. When readers get caught up in a story, it’s frequently because the story is relatable to real events, conditions, behaviors, patterns and society that seems familiar. Times, places, feelings, smells and descriptions of them help frame the world and context. As a result, some of the best fiction novels tend to be those crafted on real life experiences and events. There’s an aspect of detail that is missed by a writer who hasn’t personally been in the same situation. Thought Torpedo books are about translating real life to stories with the same elements, drama, details and nuances. Readers won’t be disappointed and may likely get caught up in the details between the pages if not careful. Good fiction is really that believable.
